If your needs demand quality craftsmanship, do not compromise. The benefits of a job well done will long outlast the temporary joy of receiving the lowest possible price.

Do your Homework!


Planning will be the key to a successful home improvement project. Keep in mind that every home improvement project involves dozens of decisions. Among other things, you will need to decide what firms to hire, how much to spend, and what products to use. Do not wait until the project is started to make these types of decisions. Plan ahead. Plan thoroughly.

Determine how much you can afford on this project. If financing is required, make sure it is in place before your begin.

Background Checks


Know who you are hiring. Insist on numerous references from potential contractors and check them out. Ask tough questions. Inquire about quality of work, timeliness, and cleanliness. Ask whether the contractor met expectations. Get lien releases. The homeowner is always better safe than sorry.
